Easy Folders is one of the more established options and supports both platforms cleanly. The catch is the privacy model on its paid tier: to enable cross-device sync, it transmits your folder names, conversation titles, and conversation URLs to its servers. The developers state they don’t read conversation contents, but chat titles alone can reveal what you’re working on. The free tier stays local but caps you at 3 folders. ChatGPT Folders by Wimeki advertises Claude support alongside ChatGPT and stores data locally. It’s a basic but functional option, with a free tier capped at 4 folders and a roughly 3.9-star average rating from its reported 10,000 users.
Superpower ChatGPT deserves a mention precisely because so many people assume it covers Claude — it doesn’t. It’s a feature-rich overhaul of the ChatGPT interface with a large user base, but it is ChatGPT-only, and its published privacy policy discloses collection of names, email addresses, and IP addresses.
What “works with both” should actually mean
Plenty of extensions technically load on two websites. Genuine cross-platform support is a higher bar. Before installing anything, check for four things.
First, native integration on both sites. The extension should dock into each platform’s own sidebar rather than floating a foreign panel over the page. If it looks bolted-on in Claude but polished in ChatGPT, Claude support was an afterthought — and it’ll be the first thing to break when Anthropic ships a UI change.
Second, permissions scoped to exactly two domains. A ChatGPT-and-Claude organizer needs host access to chatgpt.com and claude.ai, and nothing more.
